Michelle’s calm, welcoming presence will immediately put you at ease. Her realistic approach helps clients create a system that works while life is still happening around them. Her training and certification as a Meditation Teacher, Reiki Master and Teacher, Energy Therapist, Hypnotist, and Kinesiologist give the roundness of training and the lived practitioner experience, to create a safe space for anyone who comes into her presence.
Michelle understands that living a busy life of caring for others, we tend to neglect to nurture ourselves.
Like many of her clients, Michelle is a busy mom, entrepreneur, and wife. She knows how essential meditation and mindfulness is as a tool to maintain her desired life balance. She practices awareness in her shifting and evolving daily life, outside of her seated practice, and understands that this isn’t always the easiest option but by far the most advantageous. Helping busy individuals and families create mindful routines that are simple, flexible, and attainable is Michelle’s superpower. Michelle believes that the power to create peace exists within each of us.
Inquisitive and curious, Michelle’s love of learning, leads her to peel back the layers and seek a deeper understanding of any given situation. Again, Michelle has seen the personal value that meditation and mindfulness have brought to her own life through chronic illness, loss, and struggle; and she thrives to share these simple gifts with every individual. Michelle’s desire to connect to her quiet space within, invites those that she works with to connect with this space within themselves.
Allow your life to be filled with your version of mindfulBliss.
I look forward to working with you soon.
Yours in wellness,
Michelle Breede
More about me…
What’s your favourite way to bring calm into your life?
Hmmm… Meditation (haha) and getting out in nature. A nice hike or a walk in the woods always does the trick
What podcasts are in your weekly rotation?
Anything with Brené Brown. I am a little obsessed with her because she brings forward truth with so much real humanness. Other podcasts that I have enjoyed is The Michelle Obama Podcast and any of the TED Talks Daily
What’s the best part of your work?
I get to connect, learn, and grow every day alongside those that I work with. I love that I can still be surprised by people’s goodness, connectedness, and empathy for others. I get to be inspired every day by real people.
Who has been the biggest influence on your work?
I would have to say my family… and myself. My kiddos have chosen me as their mother to teach me about life at its core. They have given me the opportunity to grow and shift from disempowerment and struggle to a life focused on awareness, patience, connection, and presence. It definitely hasn’t always been easy but continually invaluable after the dust settles. I too get lost in the flow of life sometimes but when I come back to awareness, I feel blessed and humbled by the simplest moments of life.
Do you have a favourite author or speaker?
I would have to say Jack Kornfeild, Wayne Dyer, Brene Brown, and Louise Hay
Best piece of advice you’ve received?
Don’t give advice unless you are asked
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I think that most people may be surprised that I am an introvert. I get exhausted and often uncomfortable by large groups of people
Where would we find you on a Sunday afternoon?
Sunday afternoons are dedicated family downtime. You would find me and my fam playing board games, doing puzzles, watching a movie, playing video games, baking, or just plain napping.
What does love sound like?
Comfortable silence.
Cat or dog?
I love both… we have a snuggle monster dog named Sammy, a new wild pup named Bean, and a chunky monkey cat named Parker
Tea or coffee?
Definitely Coffee… maybe not what those would expect of a meditation teacher but there is the truth bomb.
Movie or Concert?
Definitely a movie. I especially love goofy comedies and superhero movies.
Sun or Snow?
I love me some snow!!! Let me be more specific, I love me some East Coast SNOW.
